THE CLASSROOM COUNTS

After twenty-six years in the high school classroom, I no longer physically or philosophically could continue to perpetuate upon our children common core state standards or mandated scripted lessons.  I fought the good fight, and for this season, God has given me permission to step away from the battle.  However, I do not concede.  The fight still rages.  I know with my whole heart the classroom still counts.  I've simply relocated.
